Antoinette,
I understand what that means. Recently I submitted my work to an on-line gallery known as the contemporary beatnik, and I was rejected(GASP!) but I called the curator to find out why. I'm in the beginning of my career and I like to know what I can do next time to better my chances, plus if you talk to the Juror, or curator, they are more likely to remember your name the next time you submit something. Anyway, I found out my problem. I had submitted 3 works of various themes, each having nothing to do with the other. A still-life of tea-pots, a figural of a woman, and an abstract. None of them connected to each other. He allowed me to re-submit, and I got in with the abstracts.. the figural woman is still there, I guess he or someone else liked it, but the Abstract goes more along with the theme of the site. So that's what they mean, Don't throw in a work of an old master with a Picasso. Stick to one general theme, like a series. Series are obviously connected. This will
make it easier for you and the juror. I hope this helps!

Another one for jurors please

I just read an article in the Crafts Report stating that the slides
should refer to each other or be an extension of the previous slide.
There is a particular order to that. I am afraid I do not understand
what they mean by that. Does someone have an explanation of this theory
somewhere on the net along with slides that may make this more
understandable or an example that you can e-mail me? It makes a lot of
sense that one has to have a storyline, but I need to see how they put
that storyline together. Thanks again.
