HA! Found my reference. Named after Lady Cadogan who was reputed to
have impoorted such teapots into Britain from China in the 19th
Century and encouraged them to be made by English potters. Many were
minature ones--about 4 inches across. I saw one on Antiques
Roadshow. The funnel is sometimes incorporated into the base.
