Chris -- Thanks for your efforts with the Pitcher gallery --
It is great to see such a variety of work on one site --
I don't work in "functional" ware at the present but like to
see what everyone else is doing -- keep up the good
work -- I'm sure that I speak for many clay arters,
when I thank you for your time in bringing this site to us.
Again THANKS!

are recovering from five inches of rain in a couple of hours
on Friday -- no clay work until the clean-up is done :(

The first batch of pitchers are now on display in the "gallery of forms".

Some very nice work and interesting variety of shapes. More are welcome!
As a reminder, this is not a juried exhibition, just a chance to see a variety of
approaches to a functional form.
If you would like to join in, send your images (up to 3 per person) to me.
Larger images are preferably to smaller ones, as I can always make them
smaller but I can't make them larger without losing quality. I'm sizing the
"close-up" images fit within a 450x450 pixel area. If you don't know how to
work with images, just send me whatever you've got.

Chris,
Thanks so much for creating this gallery. It is such a pleasure to see
fellow Clayarters' work. I am looking forward to more pictures, as they
come in.
What a great opportunity to share.

Any idea on how Judy Musicant produced the running glaze --ash ? or a white that runs? Stoneware? Porcelain? Reduction? Its a very well done piece and the glazing is outstanding --wonder what it was --any guess?
Thanks, Fred Hagen
