I fire these in an electric kiln as follows:

Candle overnight - 12 hours. Lid propped open, top and bottom peeps open.
Kiln on Low.

Close lid. Leave for eight hours.

Turn to Medium. Close peeps. Fire two hours.

Turn to High. Let Kiln Sitter do its work.

None have blown up and the walls are NOT even.
