One of the studios where I fire work (still working on getting that kiln in the home studio - I swear, before July!), puts thin pads of fired clay under work as it goes into the glaze kiln - to catch whatever student errors may occur as they slide down the pot and onto the shelf below. With the pads of clay underneath, the shelf is spared.
Is this one way this paper could be used? Instead of a pad of clay under the glazed pot, put a piece of this paper?
