Dear Clayarters:
We will be offering a 6 week wood firing/kiln building course
here at Eastern Michigan University this summer
(from June 30 to August 9) with a 7th week optional.
We will make pots and fire them in our train kiln here on campus
in Ypsilanti (near Ann Arbor). We will also build a catenary
wood kiln in the courtyard adjacent to our classroom
(for learning purposes) then tear it down, move the materials,
and rebuild it on our new northern Michigan property
(near Traverse City) during the 7th week.
