concerns...Health concerns...and passing matters of Alien
esthetics...and...if chopped mercylessly into 'parts' (as
so much of Life is anyway...)...is
two of
three, for brevity sake..

(Kelly continues, as...)

> It's a world I don't understand, folks. Some lady wants to
have surgeons
> carve her face into some kind of alien comic book
character with all the
> charm of a praying mantis, as 'art"..

Well, if she (Rayon was it? - uhhhh...'Orlan'...some long
polymer anyway, ) were at a late-night 'bar' for example,
looking
'like' that...at least some
fellows ( or gals ) would not have to wait untill
drunk-thirty to see she was not all THAT bad lookin'...
I mean, some of us have seen 'worse' you know...

Golly...and here I thought she was kinda 'cute' even...

Or with old (Will'm) 'Burrows' say, she'd have a head start
right from the get-go that-a-way, no little dab o' DMT
needed...nor any Dee-Tees even, even if she were
( prudently maybe) to refrain from subsequent experiments
with 'Apples'.

Too, I like 'Preying Mantises' very much, and, forgive me,
but I have found them much kinder than 'women' generally,
and much happier, and much more economical and tidy in their
habits AND their predations.

I had a Big Mantis as lived on
a wall here, where, at night I had a little light.
The ('Green')
Mantis
hunted there, and all one saw on the ground in the
morning...were various little 'Wings'.

Very tidy - no 'in-laws', no temprement things, no 'pouty'
stuff...no tasteless or insensitive 'stories' as tend to be
fatally
ill timed trancelike
reminescences about their
exes having had good or bad
habits and
so on, no smouldering resentments to be flareing up like a
Gasolene fire on
'valentine's day' or the like...no 'dishes' getting thrown
to the floor in hysterical tears and incoherant yelling, no
'marching' around the house in unilaterally imposed
narrative monologues of pique
as get 'louder' if one try and interject some small,
carefully worded and tender correction or other, and lastly,
no 'lawyers'...or neighbors calling the cops for that
matter...

Oh! How elegant the Mantis is...how 'clean'...

Mmmmmm...sigh...

> OK, interesting, maybe even
> artistic. If it caught on, it would sure explain all those
characters in
> Star Trek.

Actually one of my exes is ( or was) one of those 'regular',
steady-gig 'Aliens' on the 'new'
Star Treck when it started out, if not still...but I never
watched it to
see
her. It was the 'new' Star Treck version...no Captain
Kirk...

...to which I had
said, "Well, who the hell cares then ?" Do THEY ever go to
'Rigal
Seven'?

...do THEY ever pay tribute to Capt'n Pike? and have him
make a little 'cameo' appearance for old time's sake in his
roll-around 'Turkish-Bath' thing? - does
this
'new' captain
whatshisname ever wrestle a 'Gorn' or whatever-the-hell that
was? Well? does he? Do they? Any 'music' as goes
"dah-dah-daaaaaah-daaaaah-daaaaah-daaaaah-da-da-daah???

No Spock? No Vulcan 'mind-meld' with 'Tribbles'?

Well? Any yummy, tall-drink-o-water of 'Oh-who-Rue'
twiddlin' them (old time future's) blinky-knobs on the
controll panels? Well?

Or the music as went "Boompah-boompah-boompah-boompah"
whenever Capt'n Kirk and some (not-a) Mantis babe were
getting them 'eyes' and...feeling all hot and dreamy and so
on?

Well?

Humph...!

I thought not...

Fooey...pah-tooey even...

...so "There"...

Startreck-schmartreck...

I said, "...gimme the 'real' one, or forget it..."

But then too, 'real' Aliens are not all the fun some folks
might want to think either...

Nope...

Not...at...all.

As, for one's Artistic inspirations...

See pore ol' Johnathan Reed's dog sometime...or the
non-print story as he told "first"...before it (or he) got a
little revised, sanitized...sheeesh...

That Irish Setter was it? - anyway, I
digress...but..."damn" !

Kinda like a bad 'wild kingdom'...if ye remember THAT
wrteched ( oh - that dreary 'music' they had too...how
aweful it all was...) tee-vee
'show'.

Home-from-school 'sick', I used to wish that old
(uhhhhh...'marlin perkins') chump would get mauled...I mean
really
mauled
'good' too...at least for me, so far as I felt about it, as
a little kid I mean, 'then'...and 'Mutual of Omaha' coulda
slipped some
revoked-of-mexican-licence 'doc' a few hundred bucks
to wind
out a few thousand 'stitches'...you know, fix 'im up and
all...about as good as needed for a Tod Browning movie
anyway, whilst the viewers dab an eye with a Hanky or
sumpthin'...

Anyway...maybe some things in common there...with all
that...

Art is...as Art duz...

> But in the back of my mind I have to think, "Somebody is
> failing to appreciate the longer term plan, here... " what
happens when
> you want your face back? All the kings horses and all the
kings men
> couldn't make michael jackson a real nose again..

I do not believe he wanted the 'nose' he had...nor the
'face' he had, for that to
be a matter of concern here...to him or us.

Nor did Brook Shields want them for her interests, likely,
either, I do not imagine, I mean, had she gone 'back'
looking for them or something? No...I do not think she did.
But then, there is room for
conjecture here, as with so many things...

> Maybe art has to be
> bigger than an individual and his/her potential regrets...

Uhhhh...no, it may only be...'smaller' then those things,
or, an expression of evasions or commemmorations of them,
or, expressive somehow, of their interior politics
anyway...as may be massaged into some artifact or other
process of drama...

>maybe we're
> willing to sacrifice an ear, her and there, for the
greater good.

("...her and there" - ? Is that a Freudian 'slip' ? It may
just
be very...'apt'.. )

Yes...as Van Gough did, if memory serve, with his
"ear"...having made an offering of it to his Muse...on the
'altar' in effect...and, as well, boiled a 'hand' one time I
think...if
not for 'Art' per-se directly ( if that is possible to do
anyway, and maybe it is not), then to try and mediate those
mediations of Art, or of Life, or his satisfactions with
them...as his appointed Muse for her mediation's tender
ministerings to him, had Mused, and ministered...as where, a
'Mantis'
likely would have (just 'maybe') been (just-that-much) more
economical, and
'kind'...

..and merely left his 'Wings' on the ground...rather than to
(in effect, tear them out by the roots, and)
to take an ear, whilst leave HIM behind, on the 'ground',
one
might
say...with all that blood...and broken 'dishes' and whatever
else tradition seems to so oft' recommend...'then' and
since.

Oh hell...am I 'crabby' to-day?

Nahhhhhhh...

;)

(You know, the 'wink' thing...)

:)

Art would indeed "lose", and so would all who enjoy your
Clay Work...and so would you in the fun you have with
Clay...

He will not...say to do that anyway...nor would it help you
TO do that...if he did.

Now, what about them 'carpets'?

And 'rugs'?

And too...have you cut out ALL of that pesky 'commercial
dairy' (of any kind) and
so on?

...and any and all commercial 'meat' BUT for the occasional
'Ocean Caught' fish tid-bit ( stay well away from any
'farm-raised' fish) ?

The 'dairy' actually, whether commercial or not...of ANY
kind, is not a
good thing you know, for the Asthma, unless, one wants TO
have it...(to have Asthma)

That is, if you want Asthma, consume 'dairy' products.

TOO..."Caragreen" - stay the hell away from that.

It is INSIDEOUS...it is 'in' so many things...read them
'labels'...and..."just-say-no"...

It metabolizes into things as will screw with your having
the Asthma, or, of renewing it's occurance in your being
'reactive' or 'sensitive'...sensitized...

Well?...didja?...areya?

...willya? ...woncha?...In-the-rain? ( a Dr. Zeus
allusion...sorry...but at least HE was a 'real' Doctor...of
Zeus! No crooked-as-a-dog's-hind-leg-rockafeller-pimpin'
aye-emm-aye scamming and iatrogenic dis-ease makin' and
money-grubbin'-complicitor in
spreadin' disease, and keepin' ye sick for all that
dough...for him! )

Well?

...didja?

Yup...not so good...

...anyway...

You may enjoy this, if you are not already acquainted with
it...("Tree" reference...not 'nazz-ease'...)

http://www.levity.com/mavericks/frames14.htm

One must see (click on) 'Julia Butterfly Hill' under "other
interviews"...

The URL does not seem to directly go to that interview, from
which I had cut-n-pasted it.

I found it the other day, when I was looking for something
else.

That is a good way to find things...

> A cornfield is not a meadow.

Especially if it has cross pollinated with that god forsaken
monsanto 'starseed' crap...the stuff that Rats would not
even eat unless coerced to do so by starvation ( and by a
judicous application of pointed
'sticks' maybe ) , and then, they would only eat it
spareingly. Cows would not eat it willingly either...Horses
would not eat it unless starved to do so...if at
all...no one
would, but poor domesticated primate saps as shop in zoo
stores...sad...very sad...

Ol' eff-dee-aye and the yew-ess-dee-aye loves
'monsanto'...big welling 'hearts' a-nuzzle, in them cartoon
'bubbles'
o'er their pointy little heads...

> 5000 cattle in a stockyard are not
> wildlife.

No...they are not...

They are the domestication of 'death'...

don't make a

monoculture green

Well...yes...

But too, what is one to do?

Even a potted 'Geranium' is better then nothing...maybe much
better...

> Biodiversity is what is lost. They knew it in the 50s and
it's still
> happening.

The 'manifest destiny' of the cannibal chimp's 'morality'...

Monsanto wants to help...they want us to have
'monsantodiversity'...or, more bedtime for bonzo, only with
'genes'...

So duz the eff-dee-aye, the dee-oh-aye and the
yew-ess-dee-aye
and pretty much all the rest of 'em...want to 'help'...about
as well as say old 'mengelese' wanted to 'help'.

I wish we could have a renewal of the Nuremburg Trials, but
for these gumpers...'following orders'...and all that...

> More trees are nice.. but not all who are alarmed are
alarmists.

I went passed the 'alarm' part when I was 13...I had not
lingered at the 'alarm' part either...that was
1966...no one liked anything I had to say 'then'...and I did
not have much TO say 'then' either...I said merely that
people-species were become a god-damned VIRUS to this sweet
round Earth's interests. I did not
elaborate
a great deal in those days. But I did get
'depressed'...later, I figured out the atavistic regression
as trauma may reliably induce, and maintain, as to keep
perenneal, the
cannibal
'chimp' among us...in the domestications we suffer in our
'feed lots' and conveyor belts and 'pens'...

I am SO glad I cheered up since 'then'...

Aren't you?

(((...Big Hug...)))

Too...

Beware 'Sulphites' Kelly...as maybe you do anyway,
but...beware also, anything 'sulphur' like...lay off the
'Eggs' in
fact...lay off 'em for a while...too much sulphur in the
Yolkes, no matter how wholesome otherwise....give 'em a rest
for a while. Leave 'em be...pet the Chee-Kins for me...you
want to stear clear of
anything 'Sulphur' now...in any form.

And beware 'caragreen' - it metabolizes into stuff as will
mess with your Asthmatic proclativites (if not being
complicitory in induceing them) something bad...real
'bad'...forgive me if you are hep to that allready? But
maybe old 'doc' there ain't done the remedial homework
brush-ups on some of this for his easy six or eight or
ten-thousand bucks
a 'day' of perfunctory clip-board nods...while you remain
'sick' and he wallows in all that obscene, smug dough.

Like he will maybe buy himself some integrity or character?
Or even rent some?
Or can even remember let alone comprehend his "Oath"...?

Maybe he can buy himself some 'ginko'...see if that helps...

...'robes'...

If you find one as has, become 'hip' or 'hep' to these
things? - kiss
him or her for me? A big, wet
one too! - right on the forehead...

"Get Well Soon!"

Love,

Phil
