-- Directors-at-Large
-- Honorary Members of the Council
-- Excellence in Teaching Award
-- Send in Your Nomination BY MAY 10TH!
This is your opportunity to have a voice in NCECA. At next
year's conference, you will elect two new
Directors-at-Large. Of course, you may nominate from the
floor at that time, and many such nominees have been elected
in the past. However, just to ensure that there will be
nominees, the NCECA Board of Directors solicits nominations.
Directors-at-Large
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Directors-at-Large (there are three, with two-year
terms) have the following as their duties:
o Responsible for input into the annual conference by
arranging part of the program (Emerging Artists, Topical
Discussions, NCECA Connections, Silent Auction, and other
programs) as appointed by the President.
o Serve on or chair committees, as appointed by the
President.
o Initiate special projects subject to the talents of the
DAL with the approval of the Board or as designated by the
President.
o Observe and participate in Board activities as a potential
candidate for other Board positions.
o Responsible for submitting and/or soliciting information
for the NCECA News or Journal.
o Actively help to generate conference program proposals.
o Act as both an advocate for the Board and a representative
of the membership at large.
For Directors-at-Large, please send a letter of nomination
and the nominee's resume to:
