I share the frustration! On Monday, I was at the clay guild when the
mailman brought the Guild's copy. I took a quick look, but I was working, so
I did not get more than a quick page-through. I did not fret, telling myself
that my copy was sitting in my mailbox at home. I live only 10 min. away, so
I was sure both copies would arrive at the same time. Nope. Not in my box on
Tuesday either. Not Wednesday. Not ..... well you get the picture, it is
Sunday afternoon, so my next hope is tommorow, a full week after the Guild
got it's copy. Beautiful pots on the cover this month, BTW.

What are you lot whingeing on about ? ?
Last week I got April issue on Monday and March issue on Thursday.
Nice to be in place where Time runs backwards. Get a better
perspective on those cover illustrations.

Ivor,
It's May and I'm still waiting for April. Will she ever show? January
lasted through most of April. Then February and March came and went in a
week. By then the calendar said May, but I'm afraid she won't really
show until September. You think I'd be ready to end the Monthly thing by
this stage of life, but it's been with me for almost 30 years. Can't
ever say good-bye.
Covers don't mean nothing when ya got the real thing, baby. Saw Claudio
Cassanovas in the stone at a small gallery in Brussels. Monumental!
Absolutely Volcanic in stature.
A punning good day to you. Must be sumthin Ah drunk, like, uh, Fancy
Belgian bottled water.

And I didn't get my issue from last summer yet. I tried emailing but no
response. Maybe I emailed the wrong department (why wouldn't they forward
it?). Does anyone have a clue who I should email? I could only find the one
address which is the one that didn't reply. Can't phone as I'm in UK.

Email info@ceramics.org. I have always had immediate response and a new
mag in the mail right away. Where do they disappear? Hmmm.

Dear Ruth and Carol,
I think we have an advantage over those who get it before the
publication cover date.
By the time we strip the envelope away we just look and think "What
was all that fuss about on Clayart ?".
Both of you, enjoy yourselves,
Best regards,

I never get my CM until about the 5th or 6th
of the month. The bookstores get it much
sooner. I don't know what's so deficient
about 3rd class mail to Reno; it's just the
way it is - getting CM only in time for the
discussion to be over! ;) Maybe this
month everyone gets to be on MY timeline!
