Clyde,
I've mentioned this before here... but it is worth repeating... try
contacting the following:
CERF
Craft Emergency Relief Fund
PO Box 838
Montpelier, VT 05601
(802) 229-2306
info@craftemergency.org
www.craftemergency.org
Great non-profit organization doing wonderful things for craftspeople in
disastrous situations. I've been donating funds to this group for a number of
years now and encourage all fellow craftspersons to try to do the same if at all
possible. Hopefully, I'll never need to call them for help... but no one ever
thinks that a fire, earthquake, hurricane, or some other kind of disaster "will
ever happen to me"... one never knows, do they?
Best of luck and keep us posted to what happens.

Recieved the news this weekend that my old studio in Colorado Springs,
property now belonging to my ex. burnt due to a fire started buy a wax
pan. Due to an oversight on Katie's part it was not insured. It seems
the tools belonging to Paul and some others were spared but the building
is a total loss and she is stuck with a mess. Years ago I had heard
about a fund that could be used in a case like this. Anyone got a contact?
