Hi
Spent last weekend at the CCACA conference in Davis,Calif. at the
Natsoulas Gallery. A ceramic sculpture conference, www. natsoulas.com,
CCACA stands for California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic
Art. Xiao Ping ,( http://www.xiaopingstudio.com/ ) was one of the
speakers, he has a limited ability with the english language so brought
along a translator, who couldn't speak much english either and wasn't
familiar with ceramic terms.Rather comical, But the next speaker was Ah
Leon, I think that is the correct spelling, he was in the projection
room balcony with a mike and offered translation when needed. Anyway as
Xaio Ping was being introduced he put up 3 slides on the screen, 3 old,
beautiful pots. After the intro was done he went over to the screen and
pointed to each pot, first. 3000yrs old, second 2000 yrs old, 3rd 300
yrs old. The oldest was beautiful and I wanted to down load it to my
computer from his web site, but when I do it comes up as a blank
screen. I came across this same problem trying to download some African
pots from a web site somebody from this list recommended, and somebody
with more savvy than me explained how to do it ( Thanks) so I was
wondering if there is a way to do it again from this website. After
opening Xaio"s site click on"English" and then click on "NEXT" to
travel through... it's got some great tea pots and views of China, the
pot in question is about the 4th click in. A large round vase, no
glaze. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Mike Gordon

Mike -
get to the thumbnail picture of the pot in question, click on it, and right-click on the image and hit "Save Picture As..". Choose a location on your hard drive to save it to, and click save. These are instructions for PC. I believe you would command-click for a Mac.
Hope that helps.
