Hi Folks,
My partner & I are sailing down the East Coast this Fall(2004),
departing Maine in early September & arriving in Florida,,,,,,well,
whenever :^)
We would like to schedule a series of workshops along the way.
Looking for direct/indirect referrals to Schools(K-college),
Alternative schools, Art institutions, etc. that typically offer workshops,
and that are roughly within 10 miles of the coast.
In 30+ years of potting, I have done numerous workshops on,,,
production - large throwing techniques,
glazing, firing, raku, design, forms, etc. for all skill levels.
I have been away from ClayArt for roughly 8 years,
but I assume the protocol for specific feedback,
is still to email directly, rather than flooding the general list.
Any info & suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You, Rusty,,,

hi rusty!

there's a great place on Long Beach Island, NJ
(right on the ocean) called
the LBI Foundation of the Arts and Sciences.
check it out:
http://www.lbifoundation.org/pr-show-cl.php
(unfortunately, this page does not contain the
instructors names!), so here's
this summer's clay workshops presenters:
matt hyleck 7/12-16
john britt 7/26-8/6
liz quackenbush 8/16-20
ramon camarillo (he's awesome!) 8/30-9-3

your trip sounds like a blast! enjoy!

Hey Lauren,
That's just the information I'm looking for,
thank you very much for your time and effort.
It all helps in saving cumbersome hours
of perusing through the maps down the coast.
Thanks,
Rusty,,,
