Another question. I have a ring the same size that I will be
removing from an old electric that I intend to use as a Raku kiln.
I was pondering putting that ring on the skutt for more space and
coiling it in. Any warnings for this brilliant or not so brilliant idea? My what ifs are even heat, stress on the control box holding the extra-coil, demanding more electricity.......etc. I welcome all comments. Thanks!
