black coming through white glaze

I want to be able to have some very fine black lines (pre-etched) come
through a white glaze. It would probably be too fine to be able to wax
accurately or effectively over a black glaze before spraying on the
white. Does anyone know what characteristically always bleeds through
white? I'm going to test Black copper oxide as someone suggested that
to me as a possibility.
Thanks for any suggested solutions.

Gail, a method I read about but haven't tried, is to put on the white glaze,
coat the pot with wax resist, cut the lines through the resist, then paint
your black into the lines, clean off the wax and fire. Seems like it should
work, but not exactly what you are asking about.
