Reminds me of a story about Jerry Jeff Walker, who was occasionally (hah!)
prone to self-destructive behavior. One time, in a honky tonk in Texas, he
insulted a bunch of cowboys, who proceed to beat the holy livin' crap out of
him. As he lay on the floor broken and bloody, the cowboys stood over him
malevolently. He looked up and said "Aw hell, you guys ain't so tough. I
been beat up much worse than this by bikers."
