John, you might look at the brass colored welding rods. They come in
different thicknesses and can be cut with a hack saw so that you can match
the length. Purchasing just one rod would not break the bank. You could
even make a few new lengths to suit your trimming needs. Thanks for giving

Suggest Contact Griffin and ask for one. I lost a couple in a move some years ago and they sent me a set FREE. They are great to deal with - and make a very usefullproduct. Sam in Daly City
