The recent thread on stair tiles prompted a
few neurons in the old noggin to start firing.

For less than $10, I recently picked up a pair of (new)
"water shoes". Made of some sort of stretchy nylon,
with a polyurethane sole and flat heel. Get 'em at
any dive shop, or online.
Used by divers underwater for standing on rough
surfaces. Weigh next to nothing, wash 'em off
with a hose, air passes right through, so your
tootsies are nice and cool. No, you do NOT wear socks
with these, no matter how you were raised :>)

Guess what I wear in the studio now? Only drawback
is that they come in only fire-engine red
(David, you listening? ) forest green,
and the MOST hideous electric blue.
But it still beats having your sneakers rot off every month.

Mine are now the "preferred" whitish shade of porcelain :>)

Wayne,

Don't give up on the color thing when you look for your next pair. I just go=
t=20
a pair to wear in the studio and they are black with a tiny white logo on th=

side. Great for quick in the sink clean up when the glaze misses.

Happy potting,
