(Makes beautiful small raku boxes)

Jane Wolters (Chemainus, BC, Canada)
Jane Wolters wood fires on Vancouver Island with the Tozan Society of
British Columbia, Canada. Her work has a deft and sure touch in
decoration and form.

Vincent Massey Pottery (Whistler, BC, Canada)
(Flash Intro)
http://www.vincentmasseypottery.com/index2.html (to skip Flash Intro)
Vincent blends his own clay by the ton and ages it. He Reduction-fires=20
his pots in a 90 cu. ft. gas-fired kiln. Recently he has added salt=20
fired ware to his repertoire. I have been told that he is a descendent=20
of another "Vincent Massey", Governor General of Canada when I was in=20
elementary school.

Richard Gill (Burnstown, ON, Canada)

Bas Relief artist in clay (operates the Burnstown School of Art and "The
Inn at Fog Run")

FIRE=3DEARTH Virtual Gallery (Burlington, ON, Canada)

(Note: On my monitor settings at least, some of the pots show up too
dark, and I am not in favour of the coloured backgrounds in the images.
Your system may show the images differently. If not, you may feel
like using image adjustment software to see some of the pieces better.
Usually, I found that adjusting the gamma to a lighter setting helped.)

Tiles (and the Gryphon)

(Maw Company tiles from University College, University of Toronto)
If you have a Victorian house with original tile floors in the bathrooms=20
or elsewhere, they may very well be Maw tiles. Many's the time I ran my=20
hand over that Gryphon when I was a student. (Sigh)
Maw and Company tiles (Burselm, England, UK):

Maw and Company was purchased by Johnston Tiles in the 20th. Century.=20
It has now become an independent company once again and as before,=20
specializes in encaustic, majolica hand painted tiles and tubelined=20
tiles. Here are more pages on Maw tiles:

From the "Darwin Country" home page:

(You can search for "ceramics" here and get quite a long list of=20
zoomable ceramic objects to view.)
Tiled house in Stonegate, York:

The facade of the upper storeys of this house is covered with Maw and=20
Company tiles, from around 1875.

(If you like mosaics made from shards, this is the site for you... )
