I have tried that Purple Opal glaze also as an over glaze, as I was told to
try it. But it never worked for me. Can't bat 1000.
The Pinnell recipe in Clay Times March / April, lists the original
Weathered Bronze with 10 Kaolin. I do not know, again, where I got the
Ball Clay from. But glad I did because it works that way for me.
I will find Pete's email from one of the magazines and ask him about this.
