On my screen at the moment are 23 posts from
claybuds wanting to know more about my
Peter Pugger. Since that number seems to be
growing, I'm putting some info on the list. Keep
in mind, please, that I paid top-dollar and have
no connections with the company whatsoever.
I love my pug, but accept no credit nor blame
if you purchase the same pugmill and do or do
not like yours.

Here's what the company sent me when I first
inquired as to which mill might best suit my
needs as a studio potter. They also have a=20
website which is helpful in making a decision.

"The VPM-30 sounds like a good choice for you. The hopper holds about =
30-50 lbs. of moist clay and works best on a full hopper. The moisture =
content of each batch is adjustable by adding water or dry clay. The =
VPM-30 does not need a stand it comes with 6" diameter wheels and a 12' =
power cord for easy storage or transport around the studio. =20
Machines are built either to 110 volts or 220 volts. The 220 volt =
machine also requires a 110 outlet for the vacuum pump. Currently both =
are in stock. If you would like a shipping quote please email me the =
destination zip code. The VPM-30 weighs about 400 lbs. and requires a =
fork lift or a lift gate to get it off the truck. Let me know if you =
would need a lift gate."

From me to list:
This is the model I got. The bigger one would be
too big for me (and more expensive... much more)
and the size down didn't seem to offer enough,
since I had the money burning a hole in my pocket
and the space already assigned for a pugmill.
The Peter Pugger came into my life at exactly
the right time.... due to arthritis I'm sure I would
have needed to reduce my time in the studio .....
but the pugmill allows me to pug and wedge and
get creative with clay all at the same time.=20
I mention arthritis only because I know many of
you are in similar situations (and much worse
than mine) ...... mentioning arthritis doesn't mean
that there are any Victims living in my skin.....
I might just bop anybody who suggests that I've
assumed a Victim Role.........
