I have used gold leaf (23k) on my ceramic sculptures - figments series,
with great sucess. apply the gold leaf sizing sparingly, just one thin coat on
the area you are going to apply the leaf to. it dries here (colorado, no
humidity) within one hour to a tacky surface. If you are in a high humidity area
that might be slowing down the drying time.. but i suspect maybe you are
applying too much of the sizing.
