Canvas squares: I think too many large group situations have too many =
dust problems from the get go. Ideally ALL students should be =
responsible for clothes, towels, shoes--and, in this case--canvas =
squares. In some cases a covered 5 gallon bucket will hold all these =
things so they can go to the laundry. But "ideally" happens rarely. =
Maybe we should address that problem...my everlasting suggestion? One =
or two old coin operated near the clay washing machines near the clay =
studio!

FLAPWHEELS are available in hardware and auto parts stores. They are =
round (aha! what insight!) wheels with a center shaft that fints in an =
electric drill. The flaps are folded over pieces of sand paper --it =
sorts of all looks like a metal and sandpaper daisy. They are =
immensely useful when removing rust from cars, etc.....

So? Isn't it simpler to go to a super hardware store or similar and get =
a good solid set of wheels to put under your kiln? My reservation with =
imports ALWAYS is that if you are the first kid on the block with a new =
toy, you are the one who is going to have trouble with repairs. What =
guarantee is there that replacement parts will be readily available? I =
certainly would check US availability for elements, switches, like =
that....
