Hi Clayarters,

Tooting my own horn here. I am giving a week long workshop at the newly
renovated Crooked Tree Art Center July 12 thru 16, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This
workshop is offered to students new to clay or those who want to experience
hand building projects. Innovative methods in these basics will give a new
sense of design and accomplishment. Work will be bisque fired and then
finished by smoke firing.

I have been teaching clay methods for many years, always experimenting for
new ideas to incorporate into the making of unique objects. Come join us at
the new studio in the Art Center for an exciting adventure in the art of
creating in clay.

Fee: $350 for member/$380 non-member which includes all costs associated
with the materials(clay) and bisque firing. To register, please write to
the Crooked Tree Arts Center, 461 E. Mitchell St., Petoskey, MI 49720 or
email http://www.crookedtree.org/ and click on Adult Class Registration for
further information.

I would love to meet some of you in my class. Northern Michigan is a
beautiful place to visit, and there are many summer activities to keep your
off time filled.

Warm regards,

Bonnie Staffel
