After reading all the suggestions, I decided to add mine - which I use =
for most of my pieces. I embed small loops of high temperature wire =
(kanthal or nichrome) into the wet clay. You can either hang the work =
from the loop or add a loop on either side to attach picture hanging =
wire. When I make the loops, I always make a right angle bend at the =
bottom of each one so that it becomes anchored firmly in the clay and =
will not slip out. I have used this method on both low and high fired =
clays for many years and have had no problems. Hope this is useful to =
some!
