Some of you may remember I was talking about this truck camper idea this
winter.
We ended up getting a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 and a Lance 8000 truck camper,
both used, both in fine condition. Lots to do to make the two compatible
and ready to go took Fred about 6 weeks.
We just went off for a 3 night maiden cruise. It was about perfect. Did
the Champlain islands. Each night I picked a dead-end likely spot on the
map and that was our hotel location. Lovely, wonderful trip. Lots of bike
riding.
Next trip in afew days will be up the Maine coast and hopefully into the
Maritimes. Any good ideas about what not to miss in area above Bar Harbor?
Then off to Ann Arbor where we will have a (very cheap) camping spot by a
lake about 10 miles from the fair instead of a (very expensive) hotel room
about 5 miles closer. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Eleanora.........hope everybody had a great 4th. Our little village of
Saxton's River, VT, puts on the tiniest parade in the world, mostly fire
trucks, afew floats. Very nice.
