Martin, Tony et al.:
I'm ready for work. I'm talking work like David H. does out at Old
Farmhouse and Mark I does up yonder at Counts old place. I'm tired of
miggly piggly. Exploit me already. I haven't been to hell once and
David Hendley goes at least once a year.
I'm dreaming of a day when I get to buy clay not by the 50 pound box but
by the ton. It's going to be nice one day to have 14 cuft of bisque
space rather than 7 cuft of cone 8 max. I want more than 4 ware boards
only 30 inches long. When I say I make my own bats, I want to be able
to stack them on the floor and have them reach to my belly button then
use them all in a day. Exploit me.
You want me to mix clay? Where's the scales and how much? I'll wedge
it, knead it, and ball it for you. I may not be able to order squid at
the market but I can count to ten in Japanese, yeehaw.
I don't want to practice pulling handles anymore. I want to pull
handles....half the day. If I cut one of my bowls in half I want to be
left with 49 other good bowls to trim tomorrow. As long as I can have
food one the table, keep my dog in insulin, and have a little change to
take the wife to a movie on Sat, I'm your man. Call me: BR 549. I have
my own wheel.
