FREE WHEEL THROWING DEMONSTRATION
Tuesday, July 13, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The Fine Line Creative Arts Center will host a wheel throwing demonstration
by Yosuke Koizumi, Japanese potter. Yosuke studied in Japan and at Tulane
University in New Orleans. He then worked as a production potter in the pottery
village of Shigaraki. He has extraordinary throwing skills and techniques that
he will share. Yosuke will be working on the new Shimpo RK-Whisper wheel,
that he helped design and develop. Shimpo is sponsoring the demonstration.
