Ken, fagedabout AOL!! There are a multitude of servers out there that are as
or more efficient and less expensive. My server is run by computer geeks for
those of us who are challenged by these infernal machines. It is called
hal-pc. It is a non-profit and works exceptionally well. We are now
national. Follow the link http://www.hal-pc.org/
Hope this helps

Sorry to be a pain folks.

I'm trying to troubleshoot this problem I'm having with AOL and receiving my
Clayart mail.

I just got off the phone with an AOL tech and she "thinks" she solved my
problem, but I cannot tell until Clayart sends me (or attempts to send me) an
email from the Listserv. (I am less than optimistic that she solved my problem...
but we'll see...)

Anyway, could someone please send me an email as a "test" from the Clayart
list so I can see if AOL is allowing my Clayart mail to resume it's flow again?
Also, if you wouldn't mind... could you please "copy" me at my direct email
address ( RakuArtist@aol.com ) so that I know an attempt has been made in the
event it's still not working?

Thanks in advance for all of your help... and being patient with me.

Ken

I did an online in real time with an AOL tech. He told me to put Clayart in
my address book and clear my Spam filter. Was this the same advice you got?
Good luck! It "seems" to have worked for me.

You might consider AOL Communicator, aka Minotaur, to access your AOL
accounts without having to be logged in to AOL:

Now, now folks....
Don't forget that Ken has kids. Better they stay confined
to AOHell than venture out into the world of Nigerian
millions, lottery scams, and housewives with (ahem!) "pets".

Some folk like the "net police" aspects of AOL
for their kids, and it's no wonder. The net these days
is starting to look like downtown Bangkok in the 70s.

Ken knows how to reach Clayart. He's smart enough to
figure it out, AND keep his kids safe. It's called being a
good parent. Don't fault him for that.

now, now Wayne -

Don't you watch TV at all? Earthlink boasts parental controls, and even without them, my AT&T does a stellar job at filtering out all of that dreck in my email. My friends with AOL, however (or Compuserve, for that matter) get bombarded by all of that junk.

You are just crabby because you put all your toys away. Don't forget, you can always come here and play with the stuff in my studio.

Poor Ken.

Won't sever the ties to AO Hell. Won't take off his training wheels. Yeah, I know, blame it on your wife.
