As for antimony, I do not know well its behavior when used alone. But I =
know lead antimoniates better (the Yellow of Naples) and I can say that =
the colorant is destroyed easily above 1000=B0C in an oxidizing fire. =
Its colour changes from gold-yellow to the lemon-yellow as soon as the =
temperature goes higher than 1030-1050=B0C. The colorant holds out =
better if it is used under a leaded glaze. The ideal is to use it below =
1000=B0C, in the vicinity of 960-980=B0C. I do not fire in reduction.
