Dear Friends,
There is stainless steel and then, there is Stainless Steel.
Some varieties are only corrosion resistant. Some compositions are
wear and corrosion resistant. Some brands are soft but work harden on
impact. Some loose their corrosion resistance if they are heated.
If you are grinding coarse materials the fragments of metal worn away
will be large and could cause flecking.
As they say, "Caveat Emptor"
