Dear Kathy,
What a wonderful insight you express below! Good for you for your
attitude...and for sharing it! And, for what it's worth, I don't think you
are just rationalizing. Here's why I feel that way.
To use a sports analogy, "As ye practice, so shall ye play." If you
"practice" negatively at some part of your life, eventually you will perform
in other parts of your life in the same, negative way.
Positive energy, excellence and enthusiasm are wonderful things to
visualize and practice while preparing for things you enjoy most.
