Smart's take on lead frits in the industry :
"Les frittes au plomb sont de moins en moins utilis=E9es =E0 cause de la =
r=E9glementation sur les m=E9taux lourds dans les produits finis, mais =
je n'ai pas souvenir d'avoir entendu dire qu'elles =E9taient toxiques =
pour les travailleurs et que des cas seraient connus ici sur des =
intoxications caus=E9es par le travail de ces frittes." (Excerpt from a =

Lead frits are less and less used because of the regulation on heavy =
metals in the finished products, but I do not remember having heard that =
they were toxic to workers and that cases of intoxication would be known =
here caused by working with these frits.
