I am 63 years old and worked pretty much all my life in clay and mixed
media, from functional to sculptural work. I live in North Carolina but =
I am
originally from Italy. I have a studio and a home in a gorgeous 16 =
acres
property where I live with my big family of creatures. I have a very =
good
business-NC is pottery heaven in many ways-and I have too much work. I =
have
build up my business in many years and now I cannot do all the work I =
used
to do so it is hard for me to produce enough for the sales I can create.
Every time I have an open house, which is normally 4 times a year, =
hundreds
of people come to visit and buy, plus I have commissions, buyers through =
the
web site and people who just come through because of articles in =
magazines.
I would love to share my business, my studio and even my home (I have a
lovely independent apartment in the house) with a very serious =
functional
potter, willing to do some work that I design, and/or we design =
together. I
am also very happy to open the business to her/his work and creativity. =

I have a lot of discipline and ethic about my work and my life, there is =
a
great harmony here, and it would need to be somebody with the same kind =
of
mentality.
