Great point. I do have a make-up air inlet in another part of the
basement, originally added because the builder put in a big boiler and
didn't bother to supply it with an air source - so it consumed the air
in the house. We all had headaches when we first moved in (brand new
house). I went to the basement, looked at the big boiler, and went
"hmmmmm..." I opened one of the basement windows and a virtual tornado
came in, to replace all the air. Now we have a permanent source piped
in.

George:

I read your post relative to a window well spray booth. You mentioned a
powerful exhaust fan and that triggered my thoughts of make-up air.
Make sure you have plenty make-up air. Years ago I was nearly
asphyxiated because my exhaust fan was drawing down my space heater
chimney and passive damper. I quickly learned to provide adequate
make-up air.pulling and got a CO2 detector.=20

Hi Kurt, George, all...

Too, if the room is smallish, one may have a positive
pressure supplied from a strong Fan pulling (or pushing) Air
into the room through a dedicated aperature, so that the
exhaust function for the little Spray Booth it's letting the
Air out...(through it's dedicated aperature, of course).
