hi,
i am going to visit my daughter in pennsylvania, and i
will be in philadelphia for a day and a half, on
sunday and monday am.
i'd appreciate any help and advice as what to see, or
what not to miss there.
it is going to be a rather short visit and i'd like to
make the most of it.

Dear Marta -- There is just one place to go, and that is the Philadelphia
Museum of Art, one of the world's great museums, on a par with the Louvre,
the Met, etc.
In the Asian section be amazed by the ancient Chinese, Korean, and other
ceramic collections, as well as a Japanese tea house and scholar's study and
various assorted Asian temples. In the American section, my favorites
include work by George Ohr and Dave the slave and much, much more.
The museum houses the world's best collections of Marcel Duchamp and
Constantine Brancusi. I am barely scratching the surface, you could spend
days there. Medieval, Renaissance, Impressionist, Modern, Conceptual,
whatever your taste, it's there. Closed on Mondays.
