I always enjoy the phrase (from a radio show here in the US, "Car
Talk" on NPR):
"unencumbered by the thought process"

And I believe this really gets to the crux of the issue - many folks
initially look for the easy way. They just want to push a button and
viola, have wonderful glazed pottery. They're impatient, they want it
now. They ain't got the time to wait around for that electric or gas
sucking thing to get done. They don't want to be bothered with or
take the time to understand the process.

Not until later, when they make more of a commitment to the whole
process, from inception to completion, that they will understand this
amazing process we call pottery.

Dear William,
You tell us "They just want to push a button and viola, have wonderful
glazed pottery"
Well, if they "Bow" it well it could be music to their ears.
Best regards,
Ivor.

Ivor --

That's so bad it's the moral equivalent of violins. To improve
things spiritually, I suggest when you're rosin in the morning
you not fiddle around but, rather, put on your G string and
bow towards the holy city of your choice for a good partida
morning.

Oink! I'm porkly embarassed myself by what I did. -- Steve S.
