SHEDS: For Outdoor Updraft Kilns [ Propane] (Photos or diagrams of protective
outdoor housings)
Howdy,
Taking a chance someone may have a jpeg or two or pdf or similar drawings of a
kiln shed.
I all have but a completed idea in my head for my kiln hangar. I need some
protection of it from the elements, and to conceal and (dampen if you would) the
exposed cone of fire eminating past the damper shelf (used for reduction) that will be
shooting out of the top of my upcoming installed 12 cubic foot firebox.
No Chimney you see...
What I have in planning is pretty much open on 4 sides, [ can position sheet metal to
avoid direct drafts ]
Dale, from San Antonio had shown me an number of views of his outdoor updraft.
Which is the basis for some idea of what I am doing. Many thanks once more Dale.
Anyone have any shots or drawings of their outdoor propane updrafts, firing parties
