Hello, I am writing to remind everyone of the noonish Saturday Aug 21
deadline for dropping off works to be juried in the Ark Ok clay competition
held at Flat Rock Clay in Fayetteville, Ar and sponsored by the Bank of
Fayetteville. There is a $10 entry fee for up to two works and the grand
prize winner will be awarded a $100 purchase awarded from the bank along
with a solo exhibition at the bank in 2005. The show will be juried by
Phyllis King of Ft Worth and up from Sep 7- Oct 5 2004.

Thirty spokes are made one by holes in a hub
By vacancies joining them for a wheel's use;
The use of clay in molding pitchers
Comes from the hollow of its absence;
Doors, windows, in a house
Are used for their emptiness;
Thus we are helped by what is not
To use what is.
