Here's a link to see the platters I fired with glass on them. You can see from these that the glass went on in the second firing, one was even fired 3 times to achieve what I wanted. I greatly feared it would crack in the cooling but luckily it did not and the results are what I had hoped for. These platters also have multiple glazes on them, golden fake ash, falls creek shino and a cone 6 ash glaze among them. The oxides that bled into the glass was underlying either as an oxide wash or in the glaze itself that the glass then flowed through.
Kinda fun to goof around with these and see what ya can do.
