Dear ClayArt-ers.a quick note to let you all know we are hosting a Robin
Hopper Workshop October 2,3 at Mother Earth Clay Art Center, a BRAND new
10,000 sf ceramic art studio in Sunnyvale CA. Website is

all personally invited!
Also, we are getting ready to launch our first round of clay art
classes, starting right after Labor Day. If anyone has any good ideas
on how to get people to sign up for classes, please let me know. So far
we've got a few people in each class, but would like to fill them, with
room for 20/class. We are advertising pretty heavily and get calls and
people dropping by. We are also trying a Single's Night pottery
workshop on Friday nights to see if that brings in some "newbees".
Our memberships are selling pretty well, with 13 people signed up so far
(having opened our doors July 23rd). Members get 24/7 access to the
studio and are able to sell out of the gallery.
