to beable to fire to cone 10.

We need way more info BT, make, model, original hi limit (cone)etc. Why
isn't it working?

Earl, are conversion "kits" even available yet? Won't he need to buy the
various parts and put them together?
If BT will search the archives for "kiln conversion", I know mel has posted
the instructions at least twice, prolly more. Also, in case BT or others
are more visual learners, I think there may be a diagram in Mel's book. (I
think....can't remember for sure.) In any case, it's VERY EASY to do.
(VERY) If I wasn't a complete chicken, I could have done it myself. :)
BT, you need to know if your kiln was rated for ^10 in the first place. If
you exceed the temperature for which the kiln brick was designed, the brick
may melt.
