the word on the street is clear...thomas stuart wheels
are very good.
it makes me sad to think that the brent wheel has
been `cheapened`.
i do not know that...just suspect it.
things are going wrong with brents that never went
wrong before. i get posts from folks often complaining
about brents. just the last few years.
i have always championed them, not now.
but, if i had to buy a wheel today it would
be a thomas stuart, an axner, for the dollar, or
a bailey.
my favorite wheel is still the `willy wheel` by lockerbie.
it is high end, and has to fit the person buying it.
the pacifica is loved by those that have them.
quiet, nice. and creative ind. is making big strides in quality.
so, like so often. fit the wheel to the potter.

this is a tool that will serve you for 25 years or more.
