i have placed three new pix on my website.
clayart page.
had the best firing of the four last week.
reduction was handled much better, and a neutral
atmosphere was held.
i reversed how i load, with some big pots on the bottom
and tea bowls and plates on top.
seemed to open the kiln a bit...and it did not want
to go into auto reduction.
most of the pots were bowls and plates in the 9-12 inch
size. about 40 teabowls. new glazes.
nothing to scream about. but, the old glazes on big pots
were better than ever.
some of the new glaze tests got a bit metallic.
so, good things going on.
we are very pleased, to say the least.
