I am also an avid fan of the cooking shows Cat.
I have FoodTV on in my kitchen almost 14 hours
daily.
I love to look at some of the serving and cooking dishes
and often wonder about the handmade pieces I see.

As they say..."the food is the star of the show"....
but if yer a potter,,,not always so.

Wonder if there is a way to find out who the makers of some of
the wonderful things we see are...magazines often give credit to
the makers/suppliers of the pieces they feature in their photo
layouts.
Would love to find out.

Kathy

Anyone out there a fan of Iron Chef on the Food Network? I was watching it
the other day and I was facinated by some of the bowls and plates I saw them
display their prepared dishes on. They mostly use what looks like slip cast
plates and bowls, but every now and then there is something that looks
handmade and
unique. Some of them, in my opinion, outshine the food.

Hmmm, you think for the call in cooking shows one could call and say, "Whats
the difference between Tumeric and Saffron? Oh, and by the way, could you pick
up that lovely platter and tell me the name on the bottom?" :)
