The United States post office has just issued a set of 10 37cent stamps
with art of the American Indian on them. There are 2 pottery stamps in
the series, an Acoma pot and a Mimbres bowl. On the back of the sheet,
it tells about each piece and which museum it is in.
On Sept 21st the new National Museum of the American Indian opens on the
Smithsonian Mall in Washington, DC. The Acoma pot will on display in
that museum.
