woo hoo! Thanks Marilu. I know why you were drooling over June.....many
others are as well. :) By the way that big batch you ordered was put in the
UPS bin today.
Yes, you revealed the secret! Ilene Mahler's crystalline work is on the
front cover this year. I like to keep that a big ol' secret 'til someone
ELSE says it first - it's kinda like first prize. :)
One "problem" I've had in the past is that most images submitted are
"vertical" pieces - if they got stretched for a 12" cover image, they'd look
stupid and short. Talked with the printer and solved that there problem for
next year - the calendar will be VERTICAL next time around. :) I know I
just got THIS ONE finished, but I am looking forward to the 2006 calendar.
Have to find a venue for the show tho.
Also new for next year is, I now have a scanner and will be able to accept
photo submissions, which will actually make the whole process easier to deal
with I think. :) YAY!
Now gotta go straighten up the guest bedroom; Wayne and Joe are evacuating
to here. Sorry they have to do so because of a hurricane, but excited that
they're coming. :) Can't wait!
