The exhibition features punch bowls, puzzle jugs, flasks, decanters, and =
other drinking vessels used by Americans for public celebrations and =
private gatherings in the 17th to 19th centuries. Made of ceramics, =
glass, metalwork, bone and wood, these objects illustrate a broad range =
of fashions and forms used in wealthy homes, "middling" income =
residences, and taverns.=20
