Hi,

I=92m looking for a sample sales contract to use with a retailer. I have
recently place my pots in a local retail front. Over the past 30 calendar
days (9 open store days) 18 of the 25 pots have sold. Now the store owner
is looking for an increased margin (surprise?). Until this point our
agreement has been a handshake agreement (big mistake) because he has not
paid the invoice and it=92s over due. He would like more pots in the store
and I don=92t have a problem with that if two things happen 1) pay me what y=
ou
own me 2) sign a sales contract (agreement).

Please if anyone has a sample agreement or contract can you e-mail it to me
or respond to this?

Thank you,

Have you gotten a sample yet? I would suggest making this a wholesale account and having the money in advance. There is a market for your work there and why should you lend the retailer money. That is just what you are doing when you consign.

Nothing wrong with "testing" the market and when your pots sell changing to a wholesale account.

Best of luck
