Hi All,
I saw Paul Eshelman's pottery this summer at the Cherry Creeks Art
Festival in Denver, Co. I am in awe of his glazes, and wonder if
anyone has a clue as to how he has developed glazes that are so similar
but such a wide range of colors. It seems like he has 1 base glaze that
he would add colorants to (mason stains maybe?).
His website is: http://www.eshelmanpottery.com/
You can view his glaze colors in the gallery.
I guess my question is, How do I go about making salmon, avocado,
burgundy, black, etc. glazes that are all so similar in texture and
over all appearance?
Thanks,
BJ Clark
