Hi folks- classes are about to start and a teacher in our program wants
to oxides with kids- i am wondering if this is safe... if so which
ones... the kids are from 3- 1 6 but most of the kids are under 10
years of age.

Dear Kathleen Gordon,
Most education authorities have some sort of protocol in place
relating to art and craft materials that can be used in an educational
setting.
Best to check out what is and what is not permitted by the
bureaucrats. If they permit everything I would eliminate any which are
thought to be dubious, starting with Manganese Dioxide.
Would the three year olds be past the "Lick the paint brush" stage?
